It's officially Autumn which means it's Pumpkin Spice Season!

Why Do People Love Pumpkin Spice So Much?

When the weather becomes cooler and the nights get darker, there's nothing better than curling up under a blanket with a Pumpkin Spice.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte has become the quintessential autumn beverage, this seasonal treat has become a signature staple to welcome the Autumn months - some may say a portal to happiness.

The aroma, the sweet taste, the autumnal colouring - it's no wonder people go crazy for the beverage.

Here at The Skinny Food Co, we have no limitations - we don't stop at just a Pumpkin Spice Latte. We've incorporated our sugar free Pumpkin Spice Barista Syrup in other ways!

1. Pumpkin Spice Loaf

This delicious Pumpkin Spiced Loaf uses our incredible high protein, Gluten Free Bread Mix!

At only 55 calories per slice, this Pumpkin Spliced Loaf is an Autumn essential. We add some of our sugar free Pumpkin Spice Barista Syrup in the mix and in the icing for a gorgeous added autumnal spice.

2. Pumpkin Spice Pancakes with Vanilla Syrup

Using our low sugar Pancake Mix, sugar free Vanilla Syrup and Pumpkin Spice Barista Syrup - we have created the ultimate Pumpkin Spice Pancakes to enjoy this Autumn.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Add 40ml of milk or water to a cup/bowl
  2. Add a splash of Pumpkin Spice Syrup
  3. Then add 1 table spoon (15g) of the Pancake Mix and whisk until the formula is consistent and lump free
  4. Leave to rest for 30-60 seconds before adding to a boiling hot frying pan
  5. Cook gently for one and a half minutes on each side until evenly golden brown on both sides
  6. Drizzle our Vanilla Syrup on top and add pecans - Enjoy!

 

3. Pumpkin Spice Latte

The signature Autumn staple - The Pumpkin Spice Latte. Make your own with our sugar free Pumpkin Spiced Barista Syrup and live your autumn fantasy. 

Ingredients

Serves 1

Method

  1. Boil the kettle and dissolve your coffee granules in a little hot water
  2. Whilst these are dissolving, warm through your milk in the microwave until your desired temperature is reached
  3. In a latte glass, add your sugar free Pumpkin Spice Barista Coffee Syrup before topping with the warm milk
  4. Now add in your dissolved coffee granules (you can either stir the coffee through the milk or leave as it is for a marbled effect in the milk!)
  5. Top with the light squirty cream and sprinkle over your shimmer sprinkles and you’re done! Enjoy!
