Introducing food alternatives and healthier substitutes is super easy, and we love to use our platform to educate people on these easy product swaps!

Here, we explore how our Pancake Mix compares to other popular brands and inspiration on how to make the best pancakes.

The Skinny Food Co Pancake Mix VS Tesco Pancake Mix

So, how does our Pancake Mix compare to other popular brands?

Let's use Tesco's Pancake Shaker Mix as an example. Tesco's own brand contains 210 calories, in comparison to our Pancake Mix containing only 177 calories per 100g.

Tesco's Pancake Mix also contains nearly double the amount of sugar!

How to Use

1. Add 40ml of milk or water to a cup/bowl.

2. Then add 1 table spoon (15g) and mix/whisk until the formula is consistent and lump free.

3. Leave to rest for 30-60 seconds before adding to a boiling hot frying pan with low calorie cooking spray.

4. Cook gently for one and a half minutes on each side until evenly golden brown on both sides.

5. Enjoy with Skinny Syrup poured on top.

Recipe Inspiration

1. Raspberry and Maple Syrup Pancakes

To make this super tasty raspberry compote style, simply add some hot water to the raspberries!

This one is perfect for those with a sweet tooth and who love to add a fruity twist. For an extra addition of sweetness, drizzle some of our amazing sugar free Maple Syrup!

Instead of using fresh raspberries, why not try toping the pancakes with some of our Low sugar Raspberry Jam sounds like a great idea to us!

2. Banana Fritters

If you haven't tried banana fritters yet then you are in for a treat!

These are little slices of banana encased in our delicious Low Sugar Pancake Mix and drizzled with our best selling, zero calorie, zero sugar Salted Caramel Syrup!

Whether you choose to have these as breakfast with some fruit & yogurt, or for dessert with some low calorie ice cream, or maybe as a snack, you will absolutely love them!
