Pizza Crumpets 

What better way to eat a crumpet, than in the form of a pizza? Crumpets are delicious, and low calorie, making the perfect lunchtime snack, or even a post-workout treat. Our Fakeaway Pizza Sauce is used in yet another recipe - showing just how versatile this sauce is! It's low sugar, gluten-free, dairy-free and diabetic friendly, we're sure that this will become your new cupboard staple! 

Serves 1

 

You will need:

2 crumpets

40ml Fake Away Pizza Sauce

6 cherry tomatoes 

30g Reduced Fat Cheddar

1 Mini Pepperami Stick 

How to make: 

1. Start by toasting the crumpets for around 30 seconds to 1 minute and dice the 6 cherry tomatoes. 

2. Squeeze 20ml of our Fakeaway Pizza Sauce onto each crumpet, spreading it evenly. Top both crumpets with the tomatoes and 30g of Reduced Fat Cheddar. 

3. Chop the Mini Pepperami Stick into slices and add to the crumpets. Grill for 5 minutes at 200 degrees for the finishing touch.

For both crumpets, there are 372 calories, 45g of carbs, 12g of fat and 18g of protein - making these the perfect lunch for everyone!
