This is Katie who runs her own beauty therapy massage business. Struggling with weight, PCOS, IBS and gallbladder issues, and trying other diets, Katie tried the Ketogenic diet. Since following the Keto diet in April 2020, she has since lost 4 stone, and dropped from a size 18 to a size 14!

What is your favourite product?
My favourite products are the Virtually Zero salad dressings and sauces, I also love the Zero Calorie White Chocolate Syrup on pancakes and waffles. I can’t be without the coffee syrups for my lattes.  


Here at Katie's top tips for starting a keto diet: 

1. Lots of research beforehand, you don’t need to pay for plans just spend time learning about the diet. Keep it simple with meals until you learn more about net carbs.

2. Don’t go by the scales go by measurements and clothes.

3. Plenty of electrolytes when starting off to combat the keto flu symptoms
- sometimes after starting a keto diet, you may experience the keto flu due to the withdrawal from carbs. Because your body burns the glucose for energy, the body need's to change the fat-burning process when beginning a keto diet.
