How Does Our Ketchup Compare?

How Does Our Ketchup Compare? | theskinnyfoodco

One of our aims is how to help our customers make healthier choices. By swapping some of our daily foods to low sugar or low calorie options. Selecting healthier alternatives means you can save so much sugar using our products by swapping out other big brands to our Skinny Food Co sauces and syrups.

Although we now have over 25 sauces, it's time to go back to basics and see how one of our earliest sauces, Tomato Ketchup compares to another market leading brand. As the image above shows, you would need to consume a whopping 37 bottles of Skinny Food Co Tomato Ketchup if you wanted the same amount of sugar as just one bottle of Heinz Ketchup.

In a serving of our Ketchup, there is 3 kcals, compared to 13 kcals in a serving of Heinz. In a 10ml serving of Heinz Ketchup, there's also 3.3g of carbs and 2.7g of sugar - whereas, a Skinny Food Co Tomato Ketchup has just 0.6g of carbs and of course, 0g of sugar! We couldn't think of a better way to top that juicy burger, or a better side sauce to dip your chips in! For more amazing recipe ideas and how to use our sauces, be sure to check out some more of our blogs.

We think this is a perfect start if you are thinking of swapping some of your most used condiments to some lower in sugar and low of fat! All of our sauces and syrups are suitable for everyone, including diabetics, vegans and are gluten free!

Don't forget to let us know your favourite sauces, and be sure to tag us in any yummy creations over on our socials!
