For everyone who loves the classic sweet flavour of French Toast but wants to keep their calorie intake to a minimum, vegan French Toast is the recipe for you. It has all the sweet flavours of traditional French Toast but none of the sugar crash associated with unhealthy eating habits. Read on to learn how to create this delectable vegan French Toast dish.

To make vegan French Toast, you will need:

  • 2 slices of vegan bread (most bread is naturally vegan, although always best to double-check!)
  • 1/2 cup of non-dairy milk (almond, soy, or coconut)
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of Skinny Food Co's Maple Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar
  • Coconut oil for cooking.

Instructions:

1. In a shallow bowl, mix together the non-dairy milk, cinnamon, and maple syrup.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add some coconut oil.
