Veggie South West Tacos

Our Virtually Zero South West Sauce is a delicious Smokey Mexican Flavoured addition to our collection - perfect for a Veggie Taco! With hints of mustard and lime, this sauce is packed full of flavour, and is the best way to spice up your Mexican dinners! Like all of our sauces, it's sugar free, super low in calories and suitable for any dietary requirements as it's dairy and gluten free! 

This recipe would be perfect for your family dinners, garden parties, or even as a lunch time meal if you're still working from home! Our South West sauce is bound to be a staple in your cupboard this year! 

(Makes 12)

 You will need:

  • 12 taco shells
  • 2 cans mixed beans in water
  • 100ml SFC South West Sauce
  • 1 small red onion
  • 2 red chillies
  • 2 green chillies
  • 60g guacamole
  • 60g salsa
  • Handful of chopped parsley
  • 10 diced tomatoes 
  • 120g reduced fat cheddar cheese

 How to make:

Drain 2 cans of mixed beans and add these to a mixing bowl. Pour 20ml of Skinny Food Co South West Sauce into the beans, adding the tomatoes and  chopped parsley, before mixing this all together. You can season with salt and pepper to taste.

How to Serve:

To serve, we have plated up 12 taco shells, guacamole, salsa, chopped onions and green and red chillies. Once the mixed bean mixture has been added to the taco shell, we've topped with reduced fat cheddar cheese, and all the vegetable toppings!

Per taco, there is 157 calories, 16g of carbs, 6g of fat and 7g of protein. The perfect veggie twist for Mexican night in your household!
