Peanut Butter Mug Cake
Mug cakes are so simple to make and feel like the perfect comfort food for one! Traditionally they are made with flour, sugar and oil and can be fairly high in calories and sugar, BUT this recipe is high in protein and only uses 4 ingredients, the main being our incredible NEW Salted Caramel Peanut Butter. It's made with 100% peanuts with no added ingredients and no palm oil! Pair this with our sugar free Peanut Butter Barista Coffee Syrup and you get the perfect Peanut Butter Mug Cake!
Serves 1
What you will need:
- 3tbsp SFC Salted Caramel Peanut Butter
- 1 medium egg
- 1/2 a banana
- 10ml SFC Peanut Butter Barista Coffee Syrup
What you will need for the toppings (optional):
- 1 tbsp fat free Greek yogurt to serve
- 20ml SFC Salted Caramel & Vanilla Syrup to serve
- 2g chopped peanuts
How to make:
1. Take a mug, add your banana and mash with a fork.
2. Now add your egg and beat together.
3. Add the Salted Caramel Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter Barista Coffee Syrup and mix together with the banana and egg.
4. Place the mug in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until the cake just starts to come away from the sides and is firm but springy
5. Top with a spoonful of yogurt, drizzle over your zero calorie Salted Caramel & Vanilla Syrup, sprinkle the chopped nuts on top and you're done! Dig your spoon in and enjoy!
