How to Make Healthy Banana Snickers Bars!
Low Sugar and Gluten Free, these Banana Snickers Bars are a delicious snack for both you and the kids. Easy to make using only 4 ingredients, these banana snacks are the perfect healthy twist on a high calorie chocolate bar, but with a lot more flavour!
Unlike a regular Snickers bar, banana's are full of nutrients and high in fibre, supporting heart and digestive health and even aiding weight loss. Making a savvy swap like this doesn't mean you have to lose out on the chocolate - we've topped these bananas with our amazing Chocoholic Hazelnut Spread and Crunchy Peanut Butter. These bars are a great way to balance the diet, whilst still enjoying your favourite flavours!
You could even make a batch and store them in the freezer to make a perfect cool down treat on those hot summer days we are all wishing for!
You will need:
25g chopped nuts
How to make:
1. Chop your 3 peeled bananas into halves. Then chop these halves vertically in half too.
2. Spread the Crunchy Peanut Butter over the bananas and evenly sprinkle over the chopped nuts.
3. Using our Skinny Food Co Chocoholic Hazelnut Spread, top the nutty bananas to give these the perfect chocolate taste, just like your favourite chocolate bar!
4. Allow to set in the fridge for a couple of hours and enjoy!
