Croissant Bake
It's bank holiday weekend - no better time to enjoy this delicious Croissant Bake. Whether it's served as a yummy brunch with the family, or as a refreshing dessert on a Sunday afternoon. Either way, we're sure you're going to love this one - it's fruity, sweet and crunchy. Made using our Low Sugar Strawberry Jam and Vanilla Non-Dairy Creamer, we've even managed to keep the sugar and calories low, so you can enjoy this guilt free treat!
Serves 6
You will need:
8 croissants
2 medium eggs
75ml Skinny Food Co Vanilla Creamer
50ml almond milk
200g chopped strawberries
70g Skinny Food Co Strawberry Jam
2 light digestive biscuits
10g icing sugar
How to make Croissant Bakes:
1. Add 75ml of our Skinny Food Co Vanilla Creamer to a bowl with 2 medium eggs and 50ml of Almond Milk, mixing this together.
2. In a deep baking tray, add the 8 croissants (it's okay to wrap some apart to ensure they all fit!) and pour over the cream mixture.
3. Add 200g of chopped strawberries and spoon over 70g of our Skinny Food Co Strawberry Jam. For an extra crunch, break up 2 light digestive biscuits and sprinkle these into the dish before baking at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
4. Before serving, sprinkle over 10g of icing sugar.
We decided to serve ours with our delicious Skinny Food Co Custard!
