Meet Janet,
I have been overweight since the age of 12, having tried multiple diets, I never saw the success and weight loss I was looking for.
I am now 68 years old and decided that I needed to make the change, trying to find a diet that I could stick to, but most importantly enjoy.
I started a diet-plan 18 months ago, and since then I’ve seen steady results, but I felt like I was missing out on my favourite sauces. Meals weren’t as enjoyable.
Why did you choose to use the Skinny Food Co products?
I discovered The Skinny Food Co when a friend told me about the sauces, I ran straight to my local B&M’s and started buying the sweet syrups, they helped massively with my morning breakfasts. I used them with yoghurts and fruits and gave me something sweet to look forward to, as being on a strict diet, I always felt I wasn’t allowed sweet treats.
I fell in love! I started researching your other products and discovered that Skinny Food Co had such a wide range of sauces, syrups & snacks.
What are your favourite Skinny Food Co products?
There are so many products that I absolutely love. The Mayo is perfect for making homemade coleslaws & potato salad. I also love the Cherry Bakewell Syrup and the Sweet Chilli Sauce. Whenever I see a new product launch I love trying them, and now I can’t imagine my life without them.
How has Skinny Food Co helped you achieve your goals?
I have lost over 3 stone with the help of Skinny Food Co, starting the diet I felt I could keep up with the healthy foods, but I knew I was missing flavour, now I look forward to meals, it doesn’t really feel like I’m actively dieting at all. I still have a little way to go, my goal is to lose another 14 pounds, but I know with the Skinny Food Co healthy alternatives, I won’t have pre-diet dread.
What would you say to others who wish to achieve their goals?
My advice to anyone looking to start a weight loss journey is to keep a food diary or food tracking app, it’s helped me so much with organising my daily calorie intake and logging my exercise. I’ve not felt this good in decades, and it just shows that it’s never too late to be healthy and make a positive change, especially now there are so many great alternatives to favourite foods out there!
