Peanut Butter Oat Bars
If you love peanut butter and you love oats then this one is for you! Picture a gorgeous oaty base, layered with delicious 0 palm oil Cookie Dough Peanut Butter and topped with an oaty crumble and cookie crumbs, these bars are pretty delicious! Full of healthy fats and protein, they taste amazing and are the perfect snack whether you are at home or on the go!
Makes 9 bars
What you will need:
- 85g oats
- 65g self raising flour
- Pinch of salt
- 65ml vegetable oil
- 20ml Skinny Food Co Cookies & Cream Syrup
- 150g Skinny Food Co Cookie Dough Peanut Butter
- 30g icing sugar
- 1 mini pack Maryland Cookies
How to make Oat Bars:
1. In a bowl, mix your Porridge Oats, flour, salt, oil and Cookies & Cream Syrup to a bowl and mix thoroughly.
2. Line a square baking tin with greaseproof paper and pour in two thirds of the oaty mixture and press down firmly until you have covered the bottom all the way to the edges and have a nice layer. Now pop this in the freezer for 15 minutes to set slightly.
3. In a bowl add your Cookie Dough Peanut Butter and sieve in your icing sugar, mixing thoroughly until you have a peanut butter paste
4. Take your baking tin with the oat mixture out of the fridge and spread the peanut butter paste over the top
6. Take the remaining one third of the oat mixture and crumble this over the top of the peanut butter and then crush the mini cookies and crumble these over too.
7. Pop the tin back in the freezer for at least 1-3 hours to ensure it is fully set before cutting into 9 bars using a knife.
8. Serve and enjoy! The perfect no bake peanut butter treat!
