1. Pumpkin Patch / Picking
Is it really Autumn if you haven't gone pumpkin picking?
Pick your own pumpkin at your local Pumpkin Farm! This is an activity that can be enjoyed with the whole family, your group of friends, as a couple or even solo - whatever tickles your fancy.
Some Pumpkin Farms have lots of activities for the kids, including carriage rides, bouncy castles, face painting and much more!
You can also enjoy the on-site Farm Shop and browse through their Autumn / Halloween gift selections.

2. Do a Ghost Photoshoot
Grab an old sheet, either cut two holes for eyes or grab a pair of sunglasses and voila - you have the perfect DIY ghost costume.

3. Plan a Halloween Movie Marathon

5. Get Crafty with a Pumpkin
Nothing says Halloween like getting creative with a Pumpkin. Whether you're painting or carving your pumpkin, there's various creative ways to decorate them!
Not sure how to carve a pumpkin? Simply:
- Choose a large pumpkin and use a knife the cut off the crown - keep the crown of your pumpkin for later.
- Scoop out all the seeds, remove the flesh and discard - you can keep your pumpkin seeds and make a tasty snack!
- With a marker pen, draw the outline of the face you want to carve on your pumpkin.
- Pop a tea light inside of your completed pumpkin and replace the crown on top.
6. Make Halloween Themed Foods

7. Make Halloween Paper Lanterns
A perfect Halloween activity for the kids to enjoy! Halloween Paper Lanterns are super easy to make at home.
What You'll Need
- A4 Sheets of Orange Paper or Card
- Scraps of Black Paper or Card
- A Stapler
- Scissors
- Glue
- A Pencil
How To Make Your Paper Lantern

Fold your sheet of orange paper in half lengthways.

With the fold edge facing you, cut 1cm slits all along the length of the folded piece of paper (do not cut right to the edge, make slits sit about 4cm from each edge).

Open the piece of paper out.

Roll it into a lantern shape and secure each short edge together with a stapler to form a cylinder.

Use your scraps of black paper to glue eyes, a nose and a mouth to your lantern.
