Meet James
My names James Roffey, I'm 34 and live in Huddersfield with my fiancé, I'm an online personal trainer.
My relationship with food is very healthy now but from the age of 17 to 27 I had an eating disorder, so food was a real issue for me. I used the gym as a way of pushing my body to eat more and in 18 months of training I went from 9.5 stone to 14 stone, I'm 6"4 so was very underweight when I started my transformation journey.
Why did you choose to use the Skinny Food Co products?
I have a sweet tooth and with other products it would play havoc with my diet. I've used skinny food products for years now and I honestly swear by them, they make up an integral part of my diet, so when I'm working and away from the house I have a stash of my favourites in my bag and car to keep me on track.
What are your Top 5 favourite Skinny Food Co products?
Maple Zero Calorie Syrup (god tier)
Caramel Non-Dairy Creamer (addicted to coffee)
Peanut Butter Zero Calorie Instant Coffee (gutted it's discontinued)
Peanut Butter Zero Calorie Coffee Syrup
Salted Caramel Zero Calorie Coffee Syrup
How has skinny food co helped you achieve your goals?
I wouldn't have a healthy balance without the use of skinny food products. I train very hard and come the weekend I know I've earned my takeaway, this is because throughout the week I keep myself in check in regards to my calories with the use of The Skinny Food Co products.
What would you say to others who wish to lose weight/achieve their goals?
As a personal trainer I've recommend skinny food to so many of my clients and they have become fans just like me.
my advice to people looking to lose weight and achieve their goals would be to;
Have your goals broken down into short, medium & long term targets, so you are having little wins every month to keep you on track and motivated
Be consistent!! It's vital to keep going and stick to your plan, life always gets in the way (job, family, illness, injuries) so if your training is interrupted just do the best you can in the meantime and remain focused on your goals, then when you can get back to training you pick up where you left off
