Hunters Chicken Recipe
There’s no need to feel guilty enjoying your favourite dinner with this delicious, lower-fat Hunters Chicken recipe.
Loaded with protein, it’s great eaten post-workout to help your muscles recover from training. Serve with tenderstem broccoli and sweet potato wedges for the ultimate mid-week meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 medium chicken breast
- 1 bacon medallion
- 40g light cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Zero Calorie Honey BBQ Sauce
How to make hunters chicken :
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Use a knife to cut a long slit down the inside of the chicken breast, making sure to not cut all the way through.
- Slice the bacon medallion in half and place both pieces into the slit.
- Now, cut the light cheddar into chunks. Place these into the slit with the bacon and close.
- Move the chicken breast into an oven-proof tray and cook for 10 minutes.
- Once the 10 minutes is up, remove from the oven and slather in our Honey BBQ Sauce.
- Pop back into the oven for around half an hour. Once completely cooked through, remove and enjoy!
