Low-sugar and Low-Calorie Cocktails and Mocktails
Fancy a summery drink, but want to watch your calorie intake? Many traditional cocktails and mocktails contain lots of sugar and calories.
But with the tweaks listed below, it’s easy to enjoy cocktails and mocktails without consuming more than your recommended daily sugar intake.
- Swap out sugary fizzy drinks for unflavoured sparkling water or sugar-free tonic water to add bubbles without the calories.
- Add fresh fruits like strawberries, oranges or lemons for natural sweetness and flavour.
- Incorporate herbs such as basil, mint or rosemary to add aromatic depth without any extra sugar.
- Use natural sweeteners. If you enjoy sweet cocktails such as daiquiris and pina coladas, use honey, agave nectar or sugar substitutes like stevia as alternatives to refined sugar.
- Try our sugar-free, zero-calorie flavour drops. Available in a variety of flavours, including Cosmopolitan, Pina Colada, and Porn Star Martini, simply add a few drops to your favourite mixer to create classic summer mocktails.
