Low & Zero Sugar Cocktails and Mocktails
Making a New Year’s resolution to eat less sugar and do more exercise?
You need to check out these delicious cocktail mixers and flavour drops from The Skinny Food Co.
These yummy products will keep your party drinks light, tasty, and guilt-free so you can start the new year as you mean to go on.
Here are a few tasty recipes to get you started.
Midnight Temptation
This sweet sparkling drink has New Year’s Eve written all over it.
You’ll need a shot of vodka, three shots of Sex on the Beach Sugar-Free Skinny Cocktail Mixer, a splash of champagne or sparkling water, and a sprinkle of edible glitter.
Mix the vodka, cocktail mixer and champagne/sparkling water and blend with ice. For a delicious mocktail, just leave out the vodka!
Strain your drink into a highball glass and sprinkle the edible glitter on top.
Countdown Cosmopolitan
We love this fruity Cosmopolitan cocktail. Best of all, it comes without the sugar crash you’d get from a regular cosmo.
You’ll need a shot of vodka, a few Cosmopolitan Cocktail Sugar-Free Skinny Flavour Drops, fresh lime juice, a splash of sugar-free cranberry juice, and an orange wedge to garnish.
Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously with ice.
Strain your drink into a chilled martini glass, then garnish with the orange wedge. Swap the vodka for sparkling water for a fruity mocktail.
If you like, add some crushed sugar-free sweets to the rim of the glass.
Pina Colada Kiss
This rum-based cocktail is classy but fun. Just add three parts of Pina Colada Sugar Free Skinny Cocktail Mixer to one part rum and blend it with ice.
For a virgin cocktail, leave out the rum! Serve in a hurricane glass with a pineapple wedge on the rim, or carve your pineapple to use it as a glass for your cocktail!
