Now that we’ve given you some inspiration of what you should add to your coffees to make them extra delightful for Bonfire Night, it’s time that we got stuck in with the food too. In today’s article, we’re going to bring you 3 Recipes for Bonfire Night that’ll have you warm, satisfied and ready to watch the sparkles in the sky.

 

1. Honey Mustard Hot Dogs


First up, we have a Skinny Food Co spin on a classic. To make the ideal hot dog sensation for your Bonfire Night plans, you will need the following:


-1 Tin of Hot Dogs

-1 Red Onion

-The Skinny Food Co Low Calorie Cooking Spray

-Hot Dog Buns

-The Skinny Food Co Sugar Free Tomato Ketchup

-The Skinny Food Co Sugar Free Honey Mustard


& here’s how to make them:

  1. Put your hot dogs into a pan full of boiling water. Simmer until cooked through.
  2. In a frying pan, spray some of our Low Calorie Cooking Spray while you heat it up. Horizontally chop your onions.
  3. Add the onions to the pan and fry until golden brown. 
  4. Using tongs, add your hot dog sausages to your rolls before adding your onions on top. Finish off with a generous squirting of our Sugar Free Tomato Ketchup & Sugar Free Honey Mustard.


    2. Banoffee S’mores

This may be an American treat, but it's a delicious treat nonetheless so we had to include it in today’s post. To make your S’mores, you will need the following:


-The Skinny Food Co Low Sugar Cookie Mix

-Mallow & Marsh Salted Caramel Whip

-1 Banana

-The Skinny Food Co Sugar Free Billionaire’s Shortbread Syrup


Make your S’mores by:

  1. Follow the easy baking instructions on the back of our Low Sugar Cookie Mix
  2. Once you have baked your cookies and they have cooled down ever so slightly, you want to add a large dollop of the Mallow and Marsh Salted Caramel Whip, a couple of segments of banana and our Sugar Free Billionaire’s Shortbread Syrup onto one side of the cookie before sandwiching it together with another cookie. Make sure the cookies aren’t completely cool so that the marshmallow melts.


    3. Cheesy Baked Potatoes

Last but not least, we have some cheesy goodness. To make your incredibly cheesy baked potatoes, you will need the following:


-The Skinny Food Co Low Calorie Cooking Spray

-4 Medium Baking Potatoes

-4 Bacon Medallions

-The Skinny Food Co Zero Calorie Blue Cheese Sauce

-100g of Low Fat Cheese

-Parsley to garnish


& this is what you need to do:

  1. Spray a baking tray with our Low Calorie Cooking Spray.
  2. Pierce your potatoes using a fork before spraying them with our Low Calorie Cooking Spray and popping them in the oven at 210 degrees on fan for an hour.
  3. Using our Low Calorie Cooking Spray again, you want to spray a frying pan and add your diced up bacon medallions to fry until crispy. 
  4. Take your potatoes out the oven and wait to cool for a little while. Once relatively still warm, you want to cut the potatoes in half and scoop out the potato contents into a bowl; leaving the skins on a plate. 
  5. In the mixing bowl full of potato, you want to add your bacon, most of your cheese and then squirt a generous serving of our Virtually Zero Calorie Blue Cheese Sauce in before giving it a big stir.
  6. Once blended well, spoon the mixture back into the potato skins and then add your remaining cheese on top. Bake in the oven for another 5 minutes.
  7. Add your parsley on top and finito!

13.4g carbs
5.1g fat
8.2g protein
