Healthy Versions Of Delicious Festive Hot Drinks

With Christmas just around the corner, we can all be guilty of overindulging at times, and it’s not just the endless snacks you’ll find around the house over the festive period, we can also be guilty of drinking our calories. Of course, we’re not here to judge, if you can’t indulge at Christmas time, when can you?

However, did you know that a Billionaire’s Hot Chocolate from Costa contains 78.9 grams of sugar, and a Starbucks Christmas Brulée latte contains 46.7 grams?! This means that a number of festive drinks from your favourite coffee shop chains can contain more than two times the amount of the daily recommended sugar intake. Woah. It’s easy to see how the calories and sugar intake can soon mount up during December.

But, what if we told you that you can indulge in healthy versions of these winter warmers so you can enjoy a sweet treat minus the guilt? Our team have come up with four deliciously healthy and oh so festive hot drink recipes for you try out. Here’s to enjoying yummy festive drinks that aren’t jam-packed with sugar. Cheers to that!
